Highly respected agriculture company is seeking a Commercial Business Manager for their Eastern Corn Belt soybean processing operation.
This position will manage three Merchandisers and lead the sales and marketing of the facility’s soybean meal and oil products. You will also oversee the facility's origination efforts and team. This is a high-level position for someone with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the United States grain and oilseed markets. Knowledge of domestic grain/oilseed trade rules such as NGFA, NAEGA, FOSFA, and GAFTA is essential to this role.
The Commercial Business Manager for this business group will be responsible for buying/securing contracts with grain farmers/producers and growing the customer base for soybean meal produced at this location. You will be held accountable for the profit/loss for the commercial side of the business showing directly from the operations cost efficiency and effectiveness.
