This individual will be a thoughtful leader who brings excellent people management and agribusiness leadership skills, a fresh set of eyes, and a new way of thinking to challenge both the board and a solid team of professionals to the next level of success at this multi-facility agronomy, fuel and grain company.

Having strong negotiation skills, a solid background in grain merchandising and operations, and a commitment to the cooperative culture and values are key. Being positive, proactive in anticipating problems and not afraid to make changes to enhance profitability and customer service are also important.

    A strong, personable, and confident personality that connects and motivates entry level to senior management team members while also understanding complex financial statements and how to hire key team members will describe this leader. It is also important to have a big picture understanding of where the cooperative has been, is currently, and have the foresight to develop a vision for where the company needs to go in the future. The successful candidate will also be honest, energetic, and driven to accomplish many different and impacting goals including helping all team members develop, grow and achieve goals and know that their contributions matter to the success of the team.

    The new CEO will be capable of analyzing current ways of doing business and motivating staff to push forward with new things or change things as needed. You must be ready to take on multiple tasks while being a reliable and recognizable face of the company to customers, employees, and the communities served.
