A very successful and stable agribusiness is seeking an Assistant Location Manager to assist with all operations at this Northeastern US grain handling facility.
This is a new position to work directly with the current Location Manager. The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the business both inside the office (dispatching, scheduling, customer service, etc.) and outside in the operations of the facility. When the Location Manager is gone, this person will be responsible for leading the team.
The ideal candidate must have excellent people skills and strong leadership capacity with a desire to develop and promote a team environment.
This is a hands-on role and ideally candidates will have proven skills in grain and / or material handling, facility maintenance, safety training and friendly customer service.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year industry experience in grain operations or a related industry with some experience supervising people.
You do not need tons of experience, but you must have a desire to learn, grow, and be willing to be groomed into a future Location Manager role.
Compensation will be hourly with annual income likely in the mid $40's to $50,000 range to start along with an excellent comprehensive benefit package including 401K.
