High volume and fast-paced agronomy retail plant has an opening for a Plant Manager.
This is a key leadership position. Your responsibilities include managing and overseeing all day-to-day responsibilities of a $20.0M agronomy plant. You will be motivating and leading 18 full-time employees, plus seasonal people as needed. You must be a leader and a motivator.
This is a job for an individual who thrives in fast-paced work environments. This job is a hands-on role and is ideal for someone who thrives in working behind the scenes and making things happen. Your job is to make it happen! The work environment will be a combination of inside and outside work, with extended hours during the busy season.
Ideally, you will need a solid farm operational background and have an understanding of "how things work and flow." This requires you to work under pressure and be able to balance, prioritize, and multi-task. An agronomy background with very good computer skills will be helpful in this career opportunity. The company will consider other managerial candidates in other industries. People management and leadership is crucial.
Compensation will be based upon your level of experience that you bring to the role. You can expect to earn a minimum of $100,000 to $150,000 per year and receive a company truck and benefits. Contact Jim Fleming.
