A great opportunity in central Illinois! Progressive and fast-paced agronomy retail company is seeking an outstanding individual to join their team as an Agronomy Crop Consultant.
The primary focus for this job is using your agronomic knowledge to offer farmers product solutions for their farm. You'll be building relationships with farmers and learning their operations, plus walking their fields and helping them to stay abreast of insects, diseases, and weed infestations. In addition, you will work with the Location Manager to help with forecasting and budgeting and may, as needed, make some deliveries.
Ideally, the candidate hired for this job will have either a two- or four-year agronomy degree or equivalent experience coupled to a caring personality with a passion for agriculture. You'll be paid a salary based upon your experiences and be eligible for a performance bonuses, benefits, and vehicle.
