An established soil health and livestock nutrient company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager. This is a hybrid role and could be based in Indiana, Ohio, or Illinois.
This career opportunity is geared to a road warrior who enjoys being on the road 75% of the time. You will be responsible for direct sales to the customer and recruiting and managing a dealer network. The products are designed for customers who believe in soil and animal health. Many have cows and horses that are fed organic nutrients and minerals. You must be a believer in this type of farming and be able to convey your message through traditional face to face methods.
This role is designed for you to be the face of the company. You will speak at educational seminars and represent the company at industry trade shows. There will be times when you are in the field scouting fields or observing animals. You must be a good listener and ask questions of your customer. The company believes you are there to help achieve the customer's goals rather than pushing a product.
The company seeks a candidate with a minimum of five years direct ag sales experience preferably in the organic - natural soil and animal health lines. You must match up to the vision and mission of the company and represent yourself in a professional conservative fashion. Excellent listening and presentation skills are a must. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a driver screening and background check.
