A "Road Warrior Sales Entrepreneur" is needed to represent a company that manufactures and sells soil amendments.
The targeted markets are retail fertilizer dealers and related distribution networks. You will also have key farmer contacts throughout the territory. The territory focus is the western United States, and you can be based in Colorado, Utah, or Texas provided you are close to a major airport and interstate highways. This job will require you to be on the road in excess of 50% of the time servicing current customers and prospecting for new clients in person.
The company will hire an individual who has a very strong agronomic background with a passion for soil fertility and who enjoys working and managing a territory. You must enjoy sales, be able to work alone and be a self-starter. A BS degree in an agriculture-related field is necessary.
The company will furnish you with the tools and materials to be successful. You will receive vehicle and medical stipends, plus an expense account.
