They are seeking a trustworthy leader who is farmer friendly, an excellent communicator, and willing to listen to worker and customer problems and find solutions. You must not be afraid to take full control and hold the team accountable for reaching their goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid agricultural background with experience in the grain and / or agronomy business. At least five to ten years of grain marketing / trading / logistics experience and an understanding of grain handling and storage are critical and agronomy operations and management knowledge and experience will be helpful.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining a quality team environment, including replacing reliable team members who will be retiring over the next several years. This company has a vision for continuing to grow and expand steadily to better serve their current customer base and attract new customers in all areas of the business.
