    Successful agriculture company is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist for one of their Eastern grain and agronomy divisions. The EHS specialist is ultimately responsible for all environmental, health, and safety-related activities that take place at all the division facilities. Manage compliance to continuously improve performance and achieve goals and objectives while delivering efficient and cost-effective operations. Take "hands-on" responsibility for ensuring compliance of the facilities with forward-looking proactive compliance. Work with operations personnel to achieve environmental compliance in all areas of grain handling and fertilizer operations. Accountable for driving location compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and engaging the local teams in safety leadership.

    The key job qualifications required for this role are, ensuring that performance is aligned with the strategic plans and able to translate into goals that build into an effective and achievable operating plan, strong coaching, facilitation, and hands-on skills with a strong track record of successful change management who engages team members and provides clarity to help them understand the change and seeks feedback to give them ownership, proficient written communication skills in business correspondence and other required documents; presents numerical data effectively, strong oral communication skills speak clearly and persuasively; listens effectively; obtains clarification; conveys information and ideas in understandable terms at all levels of the organization and through proper channels; participates in meetings; responds well to questions, commitment to developing a safe environment.

    The experience requirements are a minimum of 3-5 agriculture industry-related experience, OR an equivalent combination of related post-graduate education and/or experience, demonstrated success in EHS leadership and passionate commitment to the safety of others and demonstrated program development implementation and training success. It is also required for the successful candidate to have experience in the grain and agronomy sectors.
