Vice President of Agronomy is needed in northeast Indiana.
This role is responsible for a $25.0M agronomy division with six locations in 11 counties.
This leadership role will be responsible for all sales, marketing, and operational activities. You will create and manage the department's budget and sales forecasts as well as purchase and price chemistry, fertilizer, seed, and other services.
You will lead the department personnel and motivate the team to build new relationships. As part of the senior management team, you'll report directly to the CEO.
Teamwork is key, and you must communicate effectively, both verbally and written, as you make presentations to farmers and patrons at meetings.
The ideal person for this key leadership role will be someone with a minimum of five years of agronomy industry management experience and be on the cutting edge when it comes to trends and technology.
While this is a managerial role, you will be customer-facing and may operate machinery applying or delivering product.
You will need a valid CDL with hazmat, CCA, and a Commercial Pesticide Applicator's license.
