A strong performing and profitable retail agronomy plant is in need of a new manager to lead and grow this facility.
This role consists of the day-to-day management of 12 full-time sales and operators, sales to key accounts, pricing and inventory of seed and chemicals, budgetary management, safety, capital upgrades, and P and L. The goal is to build and grow your business on the foundation of success set by the previous manager by differentiating yourself from the competition.
The facilities and equipment are in good shape with plenty of capacity. The company is seeking an innovative individual who will take an active and hands on role at the plant. You must be able to develop and motive your team into a cohesive unit that functions for the good of the company while providing superior service to the customer.
Ideally, this job is for someone who has a minimum of five years in a managerial position. You MUST have good business savvy along with superior people management experiences. You need to sell to top customers.
A BS in Agronomy would be nice but is not required. The company rewards top performers through an aggressive bonus plan. While the base salary will be in the $65 - $70 range, you should easily earn $100 to $150k by hitting target levels of performance. The company will furnish you with a vehicle and insurance.
