    Description

    $55,000 - $65,000 plus benefits and bonus

High-volume and fast paced agronomy retail plant has an opening for an Assistant Manager to be a "jack-of-all-trades" for a facility in Central Illinois. This plant sells a full-line of dry and liquid products, plus NH3, lime, precision, and seed. The company has become the "go-to plant" in the area because of the dedication of the ownership, location manager, and operational team.

The responsibilities for this job will vary due to season, but for the most part you will be in charge of the dry and liquid mixing and loading using a Junge system, plus grounds and facility upkeep. You may fill the seat in a machine or truck if needed. The company prefers to hire someone with experience, but will not limit this to only agronomy candidates and will consider candidates with a successful track record(s) in agronomy retail, equipment, or farming.

You must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a pre-employment screening. The customer has come to depend on the folks at this plant and ownership will reward you with excellent pay, benefits, and the opportunity to advance and take on more responsibility. This is a role designed for someone who enjoys variety and working in both inside and outside environments. This job is open now and the company is motivated to fill it.
