    An aggressive and fast-paced agronomy retail company is seeking an experienced person to join their team as an Assistant Manager for an agronomy plant in east central Illinois.

    The focus of this role is to provide leadership to the staff and support to the manager. This is an important role and needs someone who can think and understand processes.

    This is a key role with a variety of duties, but it does not include sales or scouting. You will be operating the chem shed and seed treater, managing inventory, and overseeing staff. Other responsibilities will include maintenance to the treater and mixer, storage of raw products, seed inventories, and some tool bar maintenance.

    The facility is less than 10 years old and utilizes Junge and AgVance automation systems and a KSI/Gustafson seed treater.

    It is not required at the time of hiring, but you will be expected to get your Class A CDL and Pesticide licenses.

    The company requires a minimum of two years experience working in an agronomy retail company.

    You must have leadership abilities and be able to delegate the workload.

    This position could be salary or hourly depending upon your preference. You will receive bonuses and benefits.

    $50-60,000 based upon hourly rate plus OT, benefits, and bonus.
