Leading agricultural material handling manufacturer is seeking a Service Representative for the Eastern US region where their business is increasing steadily. This individual will work cooperatively with the company's Sales team and will be a key contact with customers to schedule and oversee the inspection, maintenance and repair of all facets of their equipment.
The ideal professional for this position will be people oriented, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be mechanically inclined with a get up and get it done approach to each day.
Responsibilities will include scheduling repairs; managing and maintaining parts inventory; selling parts for customers to keep on hand for their inventory; performing light and emergency repairs; selling, scheduling and completing inspections; and assisting with the startup and training processes when new equipment is installed. You will also schedule and coordinate with outside contractors to perform large scale repairs that are determined to be outside of your scope of work.
The successful candidate will be a responsible individual who thrives on running their own schedule. You must enjoy getting out and traveling, seeing things, and working with a variety of customers while taking pride in representing the company and keeping their products operating well for all customers. You will also be privileged with managing and maintaining a service truck and a parts / service trailer.
This territory runs from North Carolina to New York; an ideal geography for this individual is in central Pennsylvania but candidates living elsewhere in the region will be strongly considered.
Compensation will be a competitive base, excellent benefits, and an attractive commission program to reward timely and efficient service and excellent customer care. You will have the opportunity to earn very good money in this role.
