Seed equipment company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to work in the Mid-South.
This is mostly a sales role with some technical work. You will be communicating with engineering, senior management, your customer, and operators.
The role will have you on the road about 50% of the time with the remaining 50% working from your home office. You will be calling on seed companies, universities, and independent seed research firms in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.
You will build relationships with your clients, learn their needs, and be able to convert to sales. This job will require follow up, demonstrating, training, and problem solving from the field.
This equipment is used in the planting and harvesting of seed research plots. It is highly technical and precise.
You must be someone who is aggressive with energy, experience, and very down-to-earth.
A farm background is important coupled to experience in seed production and related equipment will be required. You'll need good communications skills and be proficient with Word and Excel, plus other electronic devices.
This is a role with a high amount of freedom. You will plan your own schedule.

$70-75,000++ with benefits, bonus, commissions, and work out of your home.
