Full-service agronomy supply company is seeking a manager to lead and oversee a retail location in central Illinois.

The primary responsibilities of this role are varied. You will be responsible for all plant operations, personnel, rolling stock, physical plant, and inventory.

This job will have customer contact and may include some over the counter sales. During the busy season, your job will be focused on utilizing your equipment and personnel efficiently to achieve maximum productivity. You will work closely corporate manager to establish your budget, capital improvements, and inventory control.

This job requires someone with a proven ability to lead and perform during busy times and to schedule and delegate work. The company will consider candidates experienced in managing an agronomy retail facility or someone who is a custom applicator who may be considering new opportunity.

An agronomy and or a farm background coupled to an AS or BS degree in agriculture will be the base qualifications. You also need to be someone who communicates well and can work under pressure. Agronomy and business knowledge are also very important.

This plant is located in a very nice part of central Illinois with excellent schools, recreational facilities, arts and entertainment, and a close proximity to shopping and restaurants.

The company offers a compensation package based upon your level of experience plus vehicle and excellent options for bonus and benefits. $40-60,000.
