Description

Central Illinois Agronomy retail company is looking for the next generation of leadership and desires to hire an Operations Manager.

This is a role that may pave the way for you to be promoted to Location Manager.

The responsibilities for this Operation Manager role include overseeing all plant related operations and personnel plus developing relationships with customers in order to help them with their crop input needs.

You will work alongside the current manager meeting customers, suppliers, personnel, and the day-to-day operational needs of a full-service fertilizer plant. This facility has an extremely loyal customer base and is current with the latest equipment and technological requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for the customer and be willing to become part of their family. Good agronomic knowledge coupled to understanding the flow of a retail plant are very helpful, but the key here will be your relationship with your customer.

This role is ideal for someone in a fertilizer plant who is at the stage in life where you want more responsibility or someone with lesser experiences who is a natural leader.

You'll need an AS or BS in agronomy and a heart for the customer.

The company will compensate you based upon your experiences, plus will furnish you a vehicle. You will be eligible for an excellent health benefit plan.

$48-58,000 plus benefits and vehicle.
