Nutrient management group is seeking to hire a Research Manager.
The objective for this job is to provide technical agronomic expertise, develop and implement effective research projects, and disseminate the results.
You will provide leadership on developing strategic research priorities that align with the overall goals of the organization and promote nutrient efficiency and stewardship.
This job is a high visibility role, and you are to be seen as a person of knowledge and with the ability to articulate your opinions and ideas to a vast audience through written, electronic, and broadcast means. You will have interaction with public and private sectors concerning research opportunities, implementation, evaluation, and have a major impact on critical research being conducted in Illinois.
To be considered as a candidate, you must have an MS degree in either agronomy, soil science, environmental science or a similar field, plus a minimum of five years field trial experience and the ability to interpret complex research protocols.
This job will give you the flexibility to work from home, anywhere in the state of Illinois, and manage your own time with minimal supervision.
This is a new role, and the candidate hired will set the overall direction.
You will be compensated based upon your level of experience. Currently, the group provides a stipend for benefits, reimburses mileage, and provides a credit card for expenses. All office related expenses are covered.

$75-95,000 plus benefits.
