An experienced agricultural technology person is needed to lead a precision ag department in central Illinois.  This is designed for a person with a BS degree in agronomy or related technology and a minimum of five years experience in agronomy retail sales and a passion and hands-on experience in precision agricultural technology.

This job is a key leadership position and will be responsible for creating a hub of technology information to the farmer.  You will be working with technology providers to integrate their offerings into one and be able to offer the services to farmers and to your retail outlets.

You must have a passion for precision agriculture and be on the leading edge of trends and applications.  You must be able to speak well and have a persuasive personality and you will need to build respect and confidence in your abilities from farmer customers.  A working knowledge of AgVance software and having a CCA are also highly preferred.

The company will provide you with a salary based upon your level of experience and options for bonus, plus benefits, and vehicle.  $55-80,000.  Contact Jim Fleming.
